Drumline/Percussion Ensemble

WHCI Drumline / Percussion Ensemble 2007-2008

WHCI is the home of Toronto District School Board's one and only Percussion Ensemble Credit Course! The course is very popular, and includes Drumset, a Marching Drumline, "STOMP" percussion, and African hand drums. All instruments are top of the line. The Drum Circle and Drumline are very involved with in-school and community activities.

WHCI's Drum Corps uses top of the line YAMAHA Pro-level snare drums and SABIAN cymbals. Arrangements, solos and patterns are written by Mr. Cullen and the class, with new surprises for each performance. Check out our pics page to see what we have been up to!

The Percussion Ensemble also incorporates professional caliber TABLA and DHOL drums (from India) and 28 African Djembe drums along with xylophone, bells, timpani and tons of other percussion!
